Design & Development Associates have secured planning consent for a single storey rear extension and internal alterations to this wonderful character property in Bournemouth.

The client wanted to make a number of alterations including a larger kitchen living space overlooking the garden with a new downstairs shower room. In addition to this the client wanted a soundproofed utility for the noisy white goods.

We undertook a design for the rear extension and due to matching the ceiling heights, the overall height of the extension was outside the scope of permitted development. For this reason we submitted plans to Bournemouth Borough Council as a householder planning application. The planning application was approved within 8 weeks.
