The increase of two rooms was achieved via a 6 meter rear extension and re-model of the existing property to make the maximum use of space. The extension will allow for site maximisation while not causing an adverse effect on local residents. It was for this reason the council approved the plans under delegated powers. The works to the student accommodation have now been programmed in over the summer holidays to ensure there is impact on the existing students, while ensuring next years students have a completely refurbished property.
