Design & Development Associates have secured planning permission for an extension at first floor level to a detached property in Parkstone.

The client, who was looking to extend their home to create an additional bedroom at first floor level and new bathroom, approached us to secure planning approval for this home enlargement.

Our initial site assessment revealed that the proposal would fall under the criteria for a householder planning application as the size of the proposal was outside the scope of permitted development. We undertook a measured site survey of the property and produced detailed existing floor plans and elevations along with proposed floor plans and elevations. These were then submitted to the Borough of Poole and the application was approved in 3.5 weeks under delegated powers.

Since the approval, Design & Development Associates have now prepared the detailed building regulation compliant plans for the works.
