Design & Development Associates have recently secured planning approval for a rear extension and loft conversion for a bungalow in Christchurch.

The client contacted us back in 2015 after being recommended to us by a local contractor. We held an initial consultation with the client to assess their requirements and set out the planning process so that they fully understood our role moving forward.

We undertook a measured survey of the property and started designing the remodel of the bungalow. Due to the our assessment of the street scene we were conscience not to alter the front elevation too much and deter from the features of this property.

Upon submission Christchurch Borough Council reviewed our proposal and recommended approval with no design amendments. Design & Development Associates are now concluding the working drawing package for the client with the build commencement expected in summer 2016.
