Design & Development Associates have secured planning permission for a two storey side and single storey rear extension to a property in Poole.
The scheme was to undertake a two storey extension to allow for a new larger garage at ground floor level with a new utility and shower room. At first floor level the extension allows for a new bedroom and en-suite with minimum works to the current frst floor layout.
The single storey rear extension allows for a re-model of the ground floor layout. The kitchen is opened up to the lounge and the extension creates a well proportioned light and airy addition to the property. The extension has a set of bi-fold doors overlooking the garden with velux windows for enhanced natural light. A copy of the planning drawings can be found below.
We undertook a detailed measured survey of the property and produced existing floor plans and elevations to show the council the current arrangement. Once complete we undertook a design proposal for our client and submitted this to Poole Borough Council as a householder planning application. This was then approved under delegated powers 8 weeks after submission.
