Design & Development Associates have secured planning consent for a two storey rear extension, single storey side extension and internal remodel to this house in Poole.

We were contacted by our client to prepare a building regulation compliant plan after a third party secured planning consent last year. Reviewing the plans and the client’s requirements, it became apparent we could offer an improved layout while making changes to reduce the structural cost of the works.

Our proposal required a new Householder Planning Application (which they benefited from a free go so no fees to pay!) and we quickly gained consent for the amendments. The Borough of Poole worked with us for a quick turn around of the application and the plans were approved under delegated powers.

Working with the Whitelock group, we liaised with structural engineers and building control to put forward a structurally efficient scheme that really enhanced the property for the client. We quickly obtained Building Control consent and works have been ongoing over the summer.
